We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email, artist name), project data (project names, tracks, audio files, lyrics, visual references), usage data (features used, timestamps, device information), and any content you upload to the platform. We collect this data to provide and improve our service.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to provide the NIMAI Labs service, including project management, collaboration features, marketplace functionality, and AI-powered features. We may use aggregated, anonymized data for analytics and service improvement. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may use your email to send service-related notifications if you have enabled email notifications.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and security practices. Audio files and images are stored on Supabase cloud storage with encryption at rest. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate NIMAI Labs: Clerk for authentication and user management, Supabase for file storage, and Resend for transactional email delivery. Each of these services has their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data necessary for these services to function. We do not share your creative content with third parties except as required to provide the service.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share your data with: project collaborators you have invited, professional service providers you engage with through the marketplace, and law enforcement when required by law. Your public profile information (artist name, bio, avatar) may be visible to other users on the platform.
6. Your Rights
Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to: access your personal data, rectify inaccurate data, delete your account and associated data, export your data in a portable format, restrict processing of your data, and object to certain processing activities. You can exercise most of these rights through the Settings page, or by contacting us at contact@nimailabs.com.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences (theme, language, accent color). We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Authentication cookies are managed by Clerk and are necessary for the service to function.
8. Children
NIMAI Labs is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact@nimailabs.com and we will delete the information.
9. Changes to Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, technical, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the service. The updated policy will be effective upon posting.
